How To Wear Jogging Pants With Heels

I’m a believer that even your most casual pieces can be updated for a more pulled together look by making some moderate changes to your outfit.  Jogging pants are my go to when I have running around to do or I just want to be comfortable and still look cute.  With that being said, I want to still enjoy this comfort while going out for the evening whether with friends, on a date or an afternoon casual lunch meeting.  What better why to do this then by adding some heels with those jogging pants and turning that outfit to a casual chic day or evening look.  I believe the new terminology for this look is being called athleisure, but no matter what’s it being called it’s sure to catch on as a go to look. Here’s how I put my personal touch on how to wear jogging pants with heels.

With each look I added layers such as a cardigan, blazer and my faux fur vest. Theses pieces give the looks that casual chic but polished look I was going for.  Accessories are also a great way to make you everyday jogging pants chic so you won’t feel like that’s what you’re wearing.  I kept my tops basic because I wanted my layered pieces and accessories to stand out, but if you rather have a top that is more eye catching, then by all means do what works for you and completes your look.  The go to heels were a round toe, pointy toe and an ankle bootie, I love that each shoe elongate my legs giving me that slight edgy feel I was going for.  The overall vibe of each look was to keep it casual, but turned up enough with added layers, shoes and  accessories to make those jogging pants take on a whole new look.  My goal was to create looks with what you already have in your closet that is stylish, casual and chic that are perfect for a number of occasions.  The next time you have an upcoming event, pull out those jogging pants and slip on some heels and I guarantee you won’t believe how amazing you feel and look!
