How To Transition A Summer Top For Fall

Hey Dolls!  So we know that this is the season of Indian weather and you’re  trying to figure out what to wear.  In most cases the weather’s still warm with those mild days that allows you to still wear your summer pieces mixed with your fall look.  I decided to do exactly that by transitioning my summer top into fall.

For this look I paired my sleeveless top that has ruffles and buttons going down the front. There are also ruffles going around the collar of this top as well.  For fall I love a great pair of leather pants, in this case I went with faux leather pants instead but I love both.  These pants have no zipper, you just pull them up and they have an elastic waist.  I went with a loose silhouette top because it balances the structure of the faux leather pants.  My black lace up booties went perfect to complete the look, but a ankle strap open toe sandal would also be a great choice.

The orange top is a great color because of its warm texture that gives that pop of color with the black pants.  And this look works perfect for the work place, just add a blazer to give it a more professional look and then it can transition for the evening for afterwork drinks or dinner.  If you want to go a little more casual add a pair of flats instead of heels.

Summer tops are an easy way for you to still get more wear out of them and to come up with new outfit looks while easing into fall wearing what you already have in your closet.  There’s nothing better than being able to show off your summer tops while mixing fall pieces for the perfect in-between-seasons look.
