How To Style Linen Pants

One of the great things about summer besides the weather is being able to wear linen.  Linen pants in particular are my favorite to rock, they are just so comfortable and easy to pair to with a great top.

Linen is a great fabric for summer because it’s breathable, dries fast, has a cooling effect, and is lint resistant.  So basically you can’t go wrong with wearing this material, if you don’t mind that it wrinkles.  I went with a black pair of wide leg drawstring linen pants that are my go to during summer that I’ve had for awhile.  With the off the shoulder trend going on I decided to pair my blue top for this look.  This off the shoulder top goes well with this look, giving this outfit a feminine flowy feel, in a recent post you can see how I paired this same top with a denim skirt.  The final touch was adding a black open toe heel to complete this look.

The way I styled this looked is perfect for the workplace and transitioning into the evening for a get together for dinner or drinks with friends.  You can also make it a little more casual and pair it with some flats or even sneakers for the weekend or that perfect vacation getaway.  A fitted tank top with a blazer is also a great choice, especially if your workplace may not allow your shoulders to show.  Which ever look fits your style be sure that it works for you, your options are limitless.
