I don’t know if you’ve noticed, but graphic tees seem to be a lot more visible lately.  If you follow fashion at all you will see that a lot of street style fashionistas are rocking this T-shirt effortlessly.  I personally love a graphic tee and find it to be a versatile item that you can wear as part of your wardrobe.  Graphic tees are a refreshing staple that adds a simple but fun way to change up your look and still be stylish.

Now you may be wondering how do you style a graphic tee?  To be honest with you I don’t believe there really is a right or wrong way to wear this tee, but I do think there are a few guidelines to follow that will help you make the right decision on looking great.  Don’t overthink styling this look, just have fun with it!

You want to make sure that you choose your graphic tee wisely and what I mean by that is you don’t want to have something that’s not really age appropriate and tends to look more like something your teenage daughter or family member would wear. Something that has a funny saying works well and concert tees are great also, which are my personal favorite.  Now if you’re that person who has an abundance of graphic tees and they all seem to be exactly alike, I would urge you to purge them immediately and select about two or three tees that you really love and ditch the rest.  We all like a casual look myself included, so if a tee and jeans is your go to, try to look pulled together and not frumpy and boring.  The trick is to make your style complete with your graphic tee by layering it with a blazer, jean jacket or even a cardigan to give it a more polished put together look.  And another option that works is wearing a hat or even a necklace if the weather is to hot for layering.

 You can keep this style simple with jeans and sneakers, but if you want to dress to impress you can add a graphic tee with a pant suit, midi skirt, dress pants or even with a dress.  Let us not forget a great heel or sandal will top off that look when it’s being dressed up or a pair of flats are an option if you don’t want to wear heels but want your look to still be chic.
