I’m such a t-shirt and jeans kind of girl. Anytime I can wear this look and put my own creative spin to it I will do in a heartbeat. It’s such an easy way to get a causal chic look pulled together without a lot of fuss.
Of course I wore jeans, which are my favorite and the ones I have on were purchased last season and I love that they have stretch to them and fit in all the right places with no gapping. I have a small waist so I normally have to get my jeans taken in. If this is a problem for you as well it’s important to invest in a good tailor to make sure things fit you properly. The top I got from Forever 21 last year is a fun graphic tee, and if you take a look at my prior post you can see how I styled that graphic tee with a completely different look.
I LOVE hats, so I couldn’t pass up the opportunity to wear one with this casual look. To me it just completes the outfit, that’s why I think accessories are so great because it allows you to upgrade any look from basic to banging! The jean jacket around the waist gives a subtle edgy feel and is perfect if you’re somewhere that is cool and may need to put it on and still look good. I decided on some nude heels to complete my outfit, but a sandal, flats or even sneakers would work also. If you have basic pieces in your closet you can build on those to style a great look even if it’s casual and have you looking like a million bucks.
