How I Styled It: Effortless Date Night Look

I love it when I get to spend some quality time with my boyfriend and enjoy each other’s company.  I swear time moves so fast that I don’t even realize weeks have gone by without us having a date night.  This is a perfect reason to get all cute and come up with a effortless look and just have some fun.

Date nights are pretty simple-usually including dinner(my favorite) and maybe a movie or something fun that we haven’t done before.  The key is to be comfortable and casual for nights like these.  I also make sure for these type of dates that the outfit is versatile not feeling to overdressed for the occasion of events.

I decided to go with a button down blouse that has a bow and has a pretty design of multi colors of black, green, tan and red.  I purchased this blouse a few years ago at this cute little boutique in center city and I still love it.  Just goes to show you that you can restyle great pieces over and over again.

Now for my pants I decided to add some color and go with red, which isn’t a color I wear a lot of but I think I will start wearing more.  These were bought at BEBE many moons ago, but they still fit me like a glove and blends in perfectly with the colors of the blouse.

Last but not least I rounded off my date night look with a pair of nude color heels.  You can never go wrong with nude because they work with any color.  And believe it or not they are comfortable to wear, but in the event your shoes are a little painful place in insole in your shoe for more comfort.

My whole look came together with pieces I already had in my closet.  It was fun coming up with a effortless look for a date with my boo without breaking the bank and working with what I had.  Just remember that versatile pieces can take your look far.

What date night looks do you like to put together for that special someone?
