The one must-have that I can not live without is a blazer.  Long gone are the days of thinking it’s only for the workplace, it can be styled so many different ways that you’ll never get tired of wearing them.  A blazer is without a doubt a part of my go-to style uniform. It’s one of the easiest ways to elevate your style and look more polished and put together.  

Pleated skirts are one of my favorite pieces to wear.  They have so much versatility and can be worn all year round.  Currently with us being in the spring season we all know how fickle the weather can be and more times than not it’s still a little chilly, so I came up with three looks on how to style a pleated skirt for spring for those cooler days.

Hello my loves! First I want to start off by saying I can’t believe it’s been a full year this month since my last blog post. Life happened with me working on and opening my online women’s boutique Pynk Mannequin and pretty much all my time was devoted to that so I had to take a hiatus from blogging.

With the official season of Spring finally here, it’s know wonder my thoughts are on warmer climate looks that I can wear.  If you’re a fan of the LBD (Little Black Dress), then you will be ready to embrace her cousin the LWD – a.k.a. the little white dress. This is the more lightweight, carefree but still classy version that’s perfect for the warmer months of spring and summer.  They’re super easy to style and I’m showing how I styled mine.

If it’s one thing that I love, it’s a dress that looks good and fits me well.  As women we’re always looking for that dress that’s flattering and makes us feel good.  The fit-and flare dress does just that and it’s versatile enough that it can be worn to almost any occasion.  And in case you’re wondering it’s called fit-and flare because it mimic’s an hourglass shape even if you have a different body shape all together.  This dress is a most in your closet and I will show you how I styled mine.

It’s just something about the color black that you just can’t help but be drawn too.  One thing’s for sure the color is flattering and easy to put together. You can go either dressed up or casual and for me it’s my number one go-to when I want to look pulled together, so when doubt, wear black.  In my opinion wearing black will never go out of style and is a great color to have as apart of your wardrobe. I will show you how I styled one look two ways that’s super easy for day or night.

I love it when I have a piece in my closet that can be worn during the day as an outfit that you might not of necessarily would have thought of wearing because it was “too dressy.”  Sequin is one of those items that most women’s first thought is to wear it at night when you want to get dressed, but as a personal stylist I always tell my clients not to limit their wardrobe by only wearing an item for just an evening outing or a special occasion.  Now I’m not saying go to brunch with the girls in a ballgown but sequins is one of those pieces that looks great during the day when styled in a modern way so you don’t look tacky or like you’re going to the club.

I know when you think about a versatile piece in your wardrobe, a slip dress isn’t the first thing that comes to mind.  We all know that it’s a flattering option to wear in the warmer months and even a sexy piece you may want to wear when it’s you and that special someone, so it makes sense that it wouldn’t be what you consider to wear in cold weather.  But I’m going to show you a look that’s ideal on how to make it work in winter.

Can you believe that in only two days it will be Valentines Day?  I mean where does the time go it feels like we were just saying Happy New Year to each other.  But nonetheless it’s here again and I will be sharing a look I love when I want to look good but not be to dressed up.
