I’ve been on the hunt for tops recently to replace my outdated ones for spring when I came across this black and white gingham top.  If you follow fashion you know that gingham is popping up everywhere right now.  I’m not a trend follower but when I find something that I can incorporate into my wardrobe and mix it up a bit I go for it.  This was one of those times that I choose a top that I know will get worn throughout spring and summer for sure.

I love that this top has a tied-up front and three-quarter sleeves, the black and white just gives it a classy feel to me.  I went with a monochromatic look and paired it with black pants I already had in my closet with my white ankle strap sandals.  It’s simple and chic all at the same time and can be worn as a casual look to work or a nighttime event.  This top is versatile enough that I can see it being worn with denim, white jeans or a pair of shorts.  A switch of a shoe and a great bag is all you would need to change this look up.  However you choose to werk it just make sure you bring it, girl!
